Ingredients: Besan (Chick pea flour), Sugar Powder, Semolina, Salt, Citric Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, Asafoetida, Turmeric, Sodium Acetate
How to Eat: Add 2 tbsp of oil and 1 1/2 cups of water into the mix. Blend gently until the batter is smooth. Grease baking tray with oil, pour batter into it. Steam on high flame for 15 minutes. Remove cooked Dhokla trays and cool for 5-10 minutes. Optional tip: You can make the Dhokla more spongy by pouring 135 ml of cool water evenly onto the Dhoklas in each baking tray. You could also heat 2 tbsp of oil, 1 tsp of mustard seeds, sesame seeds and fresh green chillies and fry them in the oil. Add 45 ml of water to the tadka and spread it evenly on the Dhokla for a flavourful feast.
